What Krieger does

Soldier systems

Krieger designs and manufactures carriage for the individual soldier’s load. That equipment has to work with issued uniforms, armour and kit, arrive at a contracted rate and last through sustainment. Mission-specific items include the Individual Pull Kit Pouch, which carries specialist equipment used in positive action on suspicious items, and the Kangaroo Pouch, which holds up to eight magazines between a carrier’s plate bag and outer layer.

Specialised load carriage

Colours across the range include Black, Australian Multi Pattern (AMP, compatible with the Australian Multicam Camouflage Uniform), Multicam, Ranger Green and Coyote Tan.

Ad-hoc custom nylon

Krieger began by repairing, modifying and designing bespoke nylon equipment, and it continues to take on one-off and short-run work. You bring a defined gap and the kit it has to work with. Krieger patterns it, builds a prototype, trials it with your users and makes it in the quantity you need, from a single item to a contracted production run.

Other end-user requirements

  • Repairs and modifications to nylon equipment
  • Medical pouches supplied empty, or packed to an approved contents list with labelling and shelf-life control
  • Layouts, labelling and identification matched to a unit or agency equipment schedule
  • Spares, replenishment and revision control, with no substitution unless the customer approves it
  • Wholesale supply to businesses serving defence, law enforcement and emergency services (trade enquiries)

Made in Australia, and what Krieger sources

Krieger designs and manufactures its own range in Australia. Medical contents, armour plates, buckles and other proprietary hardware come from specialist manufacturers and keep their own origin and warranty. Krieger also supplies selected third-party equipment, such as restraints, batons, tourniquets and medical consumables.

Restricted and controlled items

Krieger supplies restraints, batons and related controlled equipment to verified government, law enforcement and authorised agency buyers only. These items are not for public sale and carry no online price.

For pricing and availability, email stewart@kriegerindustries.com.au with your agency or organisation, your name and position, the items or capability you need, quantities and any purchase order requirements.

Leadership and team

Founder and Director Stewart Locke served more than 12 years in the Australian Defence Force. The team brings military and policing experience, including special operations support, infantry, logistics, and law enforcement and firearms instruction.

  • Australian Defence Force units and defence prime contractors
  • Commonwealth and state police, law enforcement and corrections agencies
  • Emergency and ambulance services
  • Search and rescue organisations
  • Specialist and training units

How to engage Krieger

  1. Requirements. You set the operational requirement and acceptance criteria. Krieger develops a proposal with your nominated people.
  2. Evaluation. Krieger supplies a sample configuration for your users to test, then refines it from their feedback.
  3. Production and delivery. Krieger quotes the configuration, quantities and schedule, then manufactures to the specification you approve.
  4. Support. Krieger provides repairs, spares and replenishment to the agreed scope. Any substitution needs your approval.
