Choosing and fitting a Micro IFAK pouch in New Zealand

Choose a pouch around your carry position, equipment and training. Krieger’s Micro IFAK 2.0 is an empty pouch; medical supplies are sold separately.

By Krieger Industries

Check the pouch on your kit

The Micro IFAK measures 100 × 140 × 33 mm. Check the mounting space on your belt or pack, then check access while standing and seated. Keep it clear of buckles and pack straps. Confirm workplace or unit equipment requirements before adding personal gear.

Choose a colour for your use

Black suits a black Police kit. Multicam coordinates with MTP-compatible equipment, while Ranger Green offers another option for hunting and outdoor use. Colour compatibility does not mean NZ Police or NZDF approval.

Choose supplies with qualified advice

Use your training and qualified medical advice to choose suitable supplies. Check that the pouch closes without forcing it and that you can remove the contents. Protect supplies from moisture and inspect them before a trip. A pouch does not replace first-aid training or a trip plan.
